One of the bad things about Phase I of The South Beach Diet is the sugar cravings the first couple of days. I started Saturday morning and I've been really hungry ever since no matter how much I eat. I've done this phase before and the hunger pains are really just due to sugar withdrawal and they'll gradually fade.
I do this phase every now and then when I feel like I've been eating too much sugar since it's good for a blood chemistry reset.
