Big Monkey bike ride
My friend came up from San Jose and we rode over to the Stevens Creek Trail again. I got to try out three new things: padded bike shorts, a heart rate monitor and a bike computer. The shorts were new for me because I wear boxers. The shorts kept my junk safe and secure, but were a bit emasculating. Fortunately, no one could tell since I had another pair on top. The heart monitor did its job. I got it up to 165 biking on a straightaway, but it was around 115 most of the time. The cyclocomputer worked as well and we biked 15.7 miles. Not too shabby. I got up a maximum speed of 23.4 mph. I would've gone faster, but there was a fierce headwind.
