Fitness update


I went to badminton, volleyball and basketball this week.  I also jumped rope and bounced on my mini-trampoline a few mornings.  It paid off.  My body fat did tick up slightly to 25% from 24.7%, but my visceral fat (not shown) went from 9 units to 8 units.  Way back when, my visceral fat was closer to 11 or 12 units.  You need some fat to cushion your organs, but not too much.  I think visceral fat is a key indicator of health so it's good mine is going down.  I'll have to check the manual for my scale, but I think 7 is considered healthy so I'm nearly there.

I'm as light as I've been in 2.5 years, but feel strong.

Getting in shape is definitely its own reward.
