I didn't really enjoy the first novel so I'm not sure why I wasted a Kindle lending library slot on the sequel. I wasn't regretting my decision until about a third of the way through when the story went from fairly interesting to ridiculous. There was a bit of redemption in the end, but not enough to convince me Richards has much talent. He took an interesting scenario and beat it to death with cheese corniness. He wasn't able to create depth in his relationships and his characters seemed one-dimensional.
I do not recommend this story.
