Summer Knight by Jim Butcher

I'm starting to really like these Dresden Files novels by Butcher.  There is the right combination of violence, magic and smart assery.  Butcher is good at creating believable characters in a believable world.  He did a bit more recapping in this novel than in ones past, but the story doesn't suffer overly much.

I highly recommend this book and this series.
