I just got back home. I walked to work and ran into a colleague of mine on his bike riding away from work. It turns out that our building is still without power so they told everyone to go home. That's bad for the company, but good for me because I didn't really feel like working today anyhow.

I guess now I have no excuse for not doing laundry and cleaning up the kitchen.

It's a good thing I have A/C and ceiling fans because it's going to be hot today.

Edit: I just checked work e-mail from home and of course they sent out something last night saying my building would be closed today. I could've slept in and saved myself a 4 mile walk. Oh well. At least I got some exercise.
