I don't believe in God...

...and this week's events prove why. God wouldn't let my parents' dog get sick and God certainly wouldn't let a friend of a very good friend go through another bout with cancer.

I think the quote below sums up my feelings more eloquently than I could ever express.

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.

Is he neither able, nor willing? Then why call him God?"
