Tonight I made pollo con salsa verde from Bittman's The Best Recipes in the World. I wouldn't list out the recipe because I'm feeling lazy, but it uses the tomatillos photographed a couple of days ago along with pumpkin seeds (pepitas), cilantro, jalapeno, water, green onion and chicken. I used natural chicken thigh and it tasted pretty good. It's not an amazing dish, but hit the spot with some yellow rice and red beans out of a box.
